Privacy Policy

Snapick · Effective 24 July 2026 · Last updated 7 August 2026

In short: Snapick does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data. All photo analysis happens on your device. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no tracking.

This Privacy Policy explains how Snapick (the “App”), provided by Curry Fish Balls Limited (“we”, “us”), handles your information. It applies to the Snapick iOS application distributed on the Apple App Store.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The App has no user accounts, no login, and no server component. We do not receive, store, or transmit your photos, videos, metadata, contact details, location, device identifiers, or usage statistics.

2. Photo Library Access

The App requests access to your photo library so that it can analyze the photos you choose. This access is used solely to:

Your original photos are never modified or overwritten. Saving always creates a new photo alongside the original, and the App may create an album named “Snapick Picks” to keep your results together.

The App includes two deletion features that only ever act on items you have individually selected and confirmed: removing similar shots you have ticked, and deleting a single screenshot via long-press. Deleted items go to your system “Recently Deleted” album. The App never deletes anything in bulk and never deletes without your explicit confirmation.

You may grant Full Access or Limited Access. Under Limited Access the App can only see the photos you have specifically allowed. You can change or revoke this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

3. On-Device Processing

All scoring, similarity detection, frame selection, and cropping are performed locally on your device using Apple’s Vision framework. No photo or derived data is ever uploaded, and the App makes no network requests other than opening this Privacy Policy or the Terms of Use in your browser when you tap those links.

4. Purchases

Snapick Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Payment is processed entirely by Apple; we never see or store your payment details. To determine whether you have an active subscription or lifetime unlock, the App reads your entitlement record from Apple’s StoreKit framework on your device. Apple’s handling of purchase data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Local Storage

The App saves a small number of preferences on your device — for example your selected analysis quality and a cached copy of your Pro status. This data stays on your device, is not readable by us, and is removed when you delete the App.

6. Tracking and Third Parties

The App does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. It contains no advertising, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party software development kits of any kind. We do not sell or share any data, because we do not collect any.

7. Children’s Privacy

Snapick is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Because the App collects no data at all, no personal information from children is gathered.

8. Your Rights

The App holds no account and stores no personal data on any server, so there is nothing for us to access, export, correct, or erase on your behalf. You retain full control of everything on your device: you may delete any photo the App created, remove the “Snapick Picks” album, revoke photo permission, or delete the App entirely at any time. If you have a privacy question, or wish to exercise a right under the GDPR, CCPA, or a comparable law, contact us at the address below.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
